Let me start by saying: I don’t really understand this whole unicorn trend.I just don’t. Maybe it’s the 40-year-old in me, but the idea of unicorn everything these days is getting a little excessive. From hair color to unicorn tears lipstick to unicorn colored banana bread (??), it’s just showing up everywhere. I can’t log onto social media without seeing something new that is unicorn colored.
The final day of SHAKE WEEK, I’m sharing an intensely delicious copycat recipe. If you’ve followed me for any period of time, you’ve probably seen me swoon over a coffee drink called the “Brain Damage.” It’s a magical concoction only available in Northern Colorado. The Dazbog Brain Damage is packed with an intense chocolate flavor and an extra caffeine kick from chocolate-covered coffee beans. It’s so so good!!
I love Shamrock Shakes. Ok, let me rephrase that: I used to love Shamrock Shakes. Now, I’d say, I love the idea of the Shamrock Shake. If I drank one today, I think I would literally be sick.
During my time in Chicago with Laurel in February, I had my first encounter with frozen bananas. I’ve always kept my overripe bananas in the freezer until I was ready to make banana bread.
A few weeks ago… I got my very first Nutri Ninja blender!Truth be told, I wasn’t sure I needed this blender, nor that I would use it. Man, I was wrong. I haven’t stopped using it since I unpacked it (as you’ll see over the next few weeks with my recipes I’m sharing.) I’m in love with this thing!!! Check out all the different blending options that arrived with it… I’ve used them ALL already!
It’s that time of year again…I just love these darn shakes. They’re minty, sweet, and creamy… and mostly, reminiscent of my teenage years. I remember enjoying these shakes with friends, and not having a care in the world… nor did I even realize that the 12 oz shake carried a whopping 530 calories. Unbelievable!
Do you ever get introduced to a clever new recipe and you think…I had this experience this weekend when I saw the latest video post from our friends Olivia and Hannah from Biggest Loser. I’ve mentioned many a-time that I am HUGE fans of these ladies, and I find them SO inspiring!
